Sarcasm Ink love sarcasm and sarcastic humour, and use it daily.

In 2004 we started a list of our favourite sarcastic lines, and by 2012 had over 150 and started to share them with our friends through social media.

Over the next few years, the popularity of our posts grew to the point where people were telling us that our posts were creating most of their daily laughs. In fact, when we didn’t post for a few days, we would get comments saying that they hadn’t heard from us or asking if we had been away.

With the popularity growing we decided to get some artwork done for a few of the lines and got some tees printed. We had a great response to the tees, and people were asking where they could buy them, so we decided to start a business.

We wanted a quality cotton tee, not a cheap rag like many of the shirts out there, something you can wear over and over and not having it lose shape, wear out, or the design washes off, and you end up polishing the car with it after 6 months.

The key elements we were looking for were, a good design, quality cotton T-Shirt, a quality digital print, and at a reasonable price. After finding an Australian apparel supplier that designs and manufactures premium tees, we purchased several of them, had them printed, and wore them several times a week to test for wear and longevity.

After a couple of years of wearing them, they were still going strong and in excellent condition, so we were sold on the quality, durability, and longevity, and we launched Pavement Streetwear.
