T-SHIRT SIZE V’S DESIGN SIZE

The print size of our designs is 29cm Wide x 29cm High.

We have determined that this is the ideal size for our T-Shirt designs due to the width and length of T-Shirts and the fact that our designs have a message to be read. If the design is too wide on the shirt, it wraps around the chest and the message can't be read properly, the same thing can happen if it is too long as it can be tucked into pants, or become folded when sitting.

As the designs are a fixed width of 29cm, the design appears to get smaller on the shirt as the size increases. The reason for this is that T-Shirts vary in size (width) from Small (47cm) to 5XL (80cm), so the space between the side seam and the edge of the design increases as the T-Shirt size increases. Chest depth also increases with Tee size which helps to offset this.

An example of this that the distance from the side seam to edge of design of a Medium Tee is 11cm on each side but a 2XL Tee is 17cm.
